Alex Trebek has been the host of Jeopardy! since the syndicated debut of America’s Favorite Quiz Show® in 1984. He has become one of television’s most enduring and iconic figures, engaging millions of viewers worldwide with his impeccable delivery of “answers and questions.”

In March 2019, Trebek announced that he had pancreatic cancer. Since the announcement, he has undergone treatment while continuing to host Jeopardy!, inspiring millions with his upbeat and candid messages about his health.

I have so many memories of Jeopardy since I was a young girl sitting on my mother's bed blurting out the question before my older brother could.

In 2019, I found out that my son, who is 29 years old, loves to watch Jeopardy.  Who doesn't?

Alex Trebek had an extraordinary career and we all are grateful.  What's more, is he spent his life making sure when he passed, he really did leave the world a better place.

I hope I can do the same.

Thanks for listening.
